World Cup Launch Day - Spanish activities

On Thursday, we held our World Cup launch day, celebrating La Copa Del Mundo.

Joined by students from St. Benedict’s, the children engaged in a range of activities celebrating sport and our love for learning Spanish, from participating in quizzes, creating a cultural mural and penalty shoot outs.

It was great to see the many football team shirts and kits worn across the school. Thank you to Miss Taberner, our Spanish Lead, and to the staff and pupils at St. Benedict’s who made this enrichment day so very enjoyable. We are very lucky to have links with our feeder schools to provide opportunities like this.
